Winter work

Since I'm home from Columbus and back to being a full-time student at Kent State, I've been shooting portraits and sports for the student paper here and there, and am working as a marketing photographer for Kent State's dining services (all of which has kept me very busy on top of schoolwork..). Here are a few favorite images to suffice from the past few months. Expect another, more plentiful round of food, sports and portraiture shots in the upcoming weeks, since I have some new equipment and many ideas in the works!

Hanbin Mao, an associate professor in the department of chemistry and biochemistry, demonstrates the process of combining several components in a cuvette test tube, an early stage in telomere research, Monday, March 2, 2015, in Williams Hall. Mao and several graduate students are investigating methods to stop the spreading of telomerase enzymes which often elongate the life of cancer cells.
