One thing I'm excited to be getting practice with at the Dispatch is my lighting and technical skills. I've always enjoyed spending extra time setting up or composing a picture at an assignment every now and then, and I think I'll come away from this internship with a set of technically-sound pictures in addition to my usual "people" pictures. Next thing I hope to tackle this summer is portraiture.
